Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes results of vehicle inspections to be sure that warranty determinations are accurate and defensible.
- Coordinates and tracks all accident investigations with the Quality Assurance group.
- Analyzes findings and seeks guidance of Legal Department when needed.
- Responds to all insurance company subrogation requests. Settles claims as needed.
- Responds to all claims from consumer advocacy groups (such as BBB and Attorney General’s office).
Additional Responsibilities
- Assists Senior Customer Advocacy Manager with escalated contacts.
- Provides coverage for Regional Senior Advocates as needed i.e. vacation, leave, sick time coverage.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
Required Skills And Abilities
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work with potentially volatile situations involving high dollar amounts. Experience with Lemon Laws preferred.
- Familiar with technical aspects of vehicle repairs and modifications.
- Ability to work with all levels to provide quality feedback to Advocate and management levels, as well as attorneys, consumer advocacy groups, and Attorney General’s offices.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Some experience working with consumers, preferably at contact center or automotive retail level.
- Strong organizational skills.
